DOMENICA is a fashion magazine aiming to empower emerging talent and share the stories of women in fashion. Previous issues highlighted topics such as the importance of having a mentor (Women Supporting Women), and recognizing the women building the industry (Unsung Women Behind the Scenes).

Meet the Author:

Sophia Domenica is a creative consultant and fashion stylist with a double bachelor's degree in journalism and integrated design from Parsons School of Design. Domenica is also the founder and host of She’s All Business, a podcast where she interviews successful women in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment industries to share their stories and offer internship or networking opportunities to listeners. Domenica is also a freelance stylist working on red carpet events, press junkets, photoshoots, and more. She has interned for two celebrity stylists, Micaela Erlanger and Britt Theodora, and supported the fashion designer Jonathan Cohen during New York Fashion Week. Domenica interned for L’Officiel, where she curated credit lists, conducted image research, and produced shopping and pop culture editorial content. She also co-founded the volleyball organization at The New School, where she was a co-captain for the women’s team, a coach for the men’s team, and a co-organizer for the coed recreational club. She also worked as an athletic coordinator in The New School’s Student Leadership and Involvement Office, where she specialized in marketing, fundraising, and events.
